The acknowledgment was aired after Dipolog City Police Station presented an accomplishment report for the year 2009 wherein the city obtained a high crime solution efficiency rating of 93.5% compared to the previous years.

P/S Supt. Francisco R. Cristobal also recognized the efforts made by members of the Dipolog PNP, barangay tanods, and force multipliers that comprised the services of the NBI Gun Club, SCAA/Team David, People's Action Against Crime, REACT Space Group, D' Alert, FARE 8 and all dipolognons who help in preventing the criminality through its information network, due to the recorded low crime rate of the city.

P/S Supt. Cristobal also highly praised the assistance made by the 101st IB Philippine Army under the leadership of Commanding Officer Col. Roland Amarille because of the efficiency of the AFP's intelligence network which helped minimize or prevented the criminality in Dipolog City and the neighboring provinces. (CIO-ACA)

AIP & 20% DEVELOPMENT PLAN BUDGET ALLOCATION INCREASED

The City Development Council (CDC) during its meeting held last August 5, 2010, has earmarked an estimated ten percent (10%) budget increase in its annual investment plan (AIP), and twenty point seventy eight percent (20.78%) increase for the 20% Development Plan for the budget year 2011.
