Philippine Federation of Local Councils of Women (PFLCW)

The Philippine Federation of Local Councils of Women (PFLCW) will hold its 7th General Assembly at Top Plaza Hotel in Dipolog City on November 18-20, 2009. Expected to attend this annual activity of the PFLCW are the National Officers of the organization , senior officials of the National Commission on the Role of Filipino Women (NCRFW) headed by its Chairperson, Mrs. Myrna Tang Yao , DILG officials and some 300-350 delegates from all over the country.
The PFLCW serves as the national coordinating body of all local
councils of women nationwide. Through DILG memorandum 2006-125 a
Memorandum of Agreement was signed between DILG and PFLCW forging a
partnership to pursue the goal of empowering women in the national
and local level.
