Welcome to the official website of the City of Dipolog.. Dipolog, more popularly known as the Gateway to Western Mindanao, is a city rich in culture, history, and the arts. It is blessed with rich natural resources. I invite you to browse through this website and get a closer look at what the city has to offer.

One of the fastest growing cities in this part of Mindanao, Dipolog plays host to investors from the neighboring cities like Dumaguete and Cebu. Commercial establishments like hotels, restaurants, banks and malls dominate the city landscape.

While I seriously pay attention to improving the physical infrastructure of the city, I also give equal attention to the establishment of social infrastructure which provide opportunities for growth and development of the Dipolognons. The Livelihood and Skills Development Center (LSDEC) located at the former site of the proposed Dipolog market in Galas addresses the training needs for livelihood and economic empowerment of the local folks.

Tourism development is also one of my administration’s priorities. The Dipolog Boulevard which spans 1.4 kilometers from Central Barangay to Miputak is one of the city’s main attractions. The Dipolog sunset is a sight to behold and never fails to entice people to visit the boulevard as often as they can.

This website will also give you updates on people, places and events in Dipolog ; the local government’s policies, accomplishments, plans and projects and everything else that you would want to know about Dipolog.

Barangay Justice for Peace Successfully Launched

In view of the fervent desire of the officials of the City Government of Dipolog to further fortify and improve its otherwise already solemn and peaceful community, it forged an alliance with the Gerry Roxas Foundation (GRF) and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and joined their Barangay Justice for Peace (BJP) project, which was launched in our city on February 8, 2010. CITY HEALTH OFFICE OBSERVES THE NATIONAL DENTAL MONTH
